1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Ellington & Vale, based in Gurugram, India ("we" or "us"). They cover your use of ellingtonandvale.com. By using the site you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy at /privacy explains how we use your personal information.

Your legal rights come first. Nothing in these terms takes away or limits the rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

2. Using the site fairly

You may use the site to learn about our services and to contact us. Do not break any law, infringe other people's rights, upload malware, try to get into systems or data you are not allowed to access, scrape the site or overload it, impersonate anyone, or use the contact form to send spam.

3. Who can use the site

The site is for businesses and adults. If you are under 18, please do not use the contact form.

4. Our intellectual property

The site and its content, design, logos, images and software belong to us or our licensors. You may view and share links to pages, but you may not copy, adapt or republish our content without written permission. Notices for the open-source software we use are at /third-party-notices.

5. Enquiries and proposals

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract. Any work we do for you is covered by a separate written agreement.

6. Our responsibility to you

We take care to keep the site accurate, but the content is general information. We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable or was caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under the law of your country.

7. Changing these terms or the site

We may change these terms and the site. We will publish the new version on this page with its date. Important changes take effect at least 30 days after we publish them.

8. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first at hello@ellingtonandvale.com or use our complaints page at /complaints. You can also contact our grievance officer (see /grievance), the National Consumer Helpline (1915, consumerhelpline.gov.in), or a consumer commission where you live.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.

9. General

These terms and the documents they link to are the whole agreement between us about the site. If a court decides any part is invalid, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
